we are developing and converting one of biggest websites in Arabic world to Drupal, I believe the Drupal can handle such pageviews(8m) and more. but what is the best scenario for hosting.

please advise me.

I had allready a lot off stuff from this community so I would like to give back what I can.

I searched for drupal hosts in Europe and came to notice that it is hard to find. I lost quite some money because I picket the wrong hosts. Recently the only hosting providers where I still run websites are 2 Belgian ones. www.alfahosting.be, www.easyhosting.be. They have a very good Dutch support, but also English and French.

i'm suppose to migrate my site onto another host provider.
i realize the new host has mysql 5.1 while my version is 5.4.

will i have problem installing it or it's gonna be ok ? (compatible ?)

i prefer ask before starting (someone else in my team did the subscription but did not verified if it was technicly possible :-( )

For load balancing and high availability, I'm setting up the same site on Server (A) and Server (B), and have them both connect to the same database on Server (C).

I only want updates to be done on (A), and (B) to be read only.

But Drupal requires that both sites have a database account with full privilege. So will this approach work?

we are not able to access drupal.org on my internet connection, we was talk to internet service provider (ISP) for accessing drupal.org, the refer and inform for blocking ip address on drupal.org server, our IP address is 182.73.76.94 and 182.73.76.93.. kindly unblock our ip address and give access to us.
