Wampserver and localhost question all links lead back to wamps localhost page

Hey everyone. I have been designing drupal sites online because i have been scared of learning how to setup Wampserver. I decided to bite the bullet and got it working with a fresh D7 install.

I downloaded the database and the complete website of mine that i have been designing over the internet
Every link (menu link) leads back to the wampserver localhost page. I have searched for about an hour on Google looking for a solution and haven't found any.

I am guessing it is some sort of cache file left over in my database but not sure.

domain.com ripped me off whats a better host

i got an account with domain.com and after trying to upgrade drupal with their simple scripts i get nothing but errors i called custumer support and all they did was place a support ticket with my account (i could have done that) i tried installing drupal with their scripts again and i get an errors, now i just want to get a new hosting service

one of my friends recommended i get asmallorange.com but it dosen't mention drupal anywhere on the website ... has anyone one used this site before

or recommend another host ?

Any current experience with Drupal Sites on Site5 Shared Hosting?

I am currently hosting everything with midPhase, and previously, I hosted with ANHosting (which is part of the same company as midPhase anyway). The only reason I'm ad midPhase instead of ANHosting now is that I took advantage of an offer to bump my overall package up a little, and then combined 2 accounts, since none of my sites are very high traffic websites.

That said, one annoyance I've had since merging my 2 accounts appears to be caused by the confusing (I think) practice of using the php.ini and .htaccess files combination to make sure all sites are routed correctly (for me, 4 small sites).

Because of that, I thought I'd look around again to see what else is out there.

One thing I noticed with Site5 is their ... +Turbo package which has one particularly intriguing piece, in my opinion. They allow you to use the same tool that the Hosting Reseller packages use, and that is an account management screen, and total separation of each site/account. So instead of using .htaccess rules and such, you would just use their web interface, and each site would then work like its totally separate dedicated account.

2 Days to setup CloudFront?

Hi Guys,

I have just received a quote from our Drupal developers stating that it will take in the region of 16 hours to set up Cloudfront for our website. I am wondering if you guys can give me an opinion on whether you think this is reasonable?

I can only imagine that they are referring to a 'push' scenario with 16 hours - given the numerous 5 minute guides I am finding on the net. We really only need a 'pull' solution - something I understand is much less complicated to set up.

Migrating Drupal to BlueHost issues

Hi all. Not sure if I'm at the right forum. I was asked to move a drupal site to a different hosting company, and I am having issues.

I'm getting this message:

Failed to connect to your database server. The server reports the following message: SQLSTATE[28000] [1045] Access denied for user 'admin'@'localhost' (using password: YES).

Can someone help me out?

I installed Drupal at Bluehost.com, uploaded the entire site, imported the .sql file. Not sure why it's not working.

Thanks!
Mark
