My public_html directory is filling up with core dumps on Drupal Value Hosting. Is anyone else noticing this? I've created a support ticket with them but they claim it's an .htaccess or php script issue (not our problem). I'm posting this here instead of the support forum because I don't think it's a Drupal problem. I'm just curious if others are having the same issue.
The dumps seemed to start after they made the switch from mod_php to php-cgi which would make sense if these core dumps are a php issue.
So far all i've had with them are headaches. I pay about 8 a month and im looking to switch because of there no image upload support (cant upload an image from drupal itself, all uploading has to be done through ftp).
They do this so you dont run an image hosting site on there, so everything is blocked.
This is our primary use case. We don't intend to distribute either source code or software components for the server solution to the customer. Our model involves hosting the solution for the customer.
What are the ramifications in terms of GNU GPL LICENSES IF agent s/w installed on endpoints. Is this considered s/w distribution ? What implications will it have in relation to code modifications in the agent software ?
