Hosting support

Looking for a few VPS recommendations. So far http://www.linode.com, http://www.slicehost.com, http://www.bryght.com/vps-hosting are looking good. I've gone through the much-promoted DVH, Hot Drupal, and AN Hosting mentioed in this forum, so no need to re-cover that. Anyone able to recommend other VPS providers worth looking at?

Hi, I've been reading so many posts about Drupal hosting that its bleary. My observation is that the signal to noise ratio of reviews is really low in this area.

What would be needed to make a module that actually measured performance for a host?

This way, I could install it, and check it myself.
