Translations

When I add/edit content in English (on English side of site), then go do the same, in French (on the French side of the site), the English side then shows the French content I just edited. It seems whichever language I save the content on, it is saving it in that same language on both sides. Please explain how to keep the English in English and the French in the French. Thankyou!

I have gone through all the available tutorials and instructions and issues but still my translation not working. everything working fine but not translation of the content.
System environmental information
1. Drupal 7.32
2. PHP 5.4.2
3. Apache 2.2.22

Hello,

I want to use the default Drupal contact form for my website, but the labels are in english an I need them in german.
Maybe I'm blind but i couldn't find a way to edit these labels.

So I googled it and found this Module: https://www.drupal.org/node/1396984

I installed the module and followed the guide, but it seems that I can only localize the categories or the auto-reply.

Am I doing something wrong, or is there just no easy way to change those lables?

I use Ubercart. There and in my Drupal installation, I do not want to translate but just give it a different name all words (backend and frontend).

I would also like this in the browser line have the links above as well as the new meaning.

How do I do that?

I am trying to create a multilingual site and to translate the "Site name" and "Site slogan"
I have installed the "variable" module and internationalization and enabled them including the "menu translation" and "content translation"
I cleared the cache and looked for the "variable tab" in configuration -> Regional and language -> Multilingual settings but it's not there.
I see only the "multilingual setting" , "Selection" , "node options" and "strings".

Any idea why the variable tab is not displayed?

Il était en français, j’ai ajouté le néerlandais.
Les contenus, les menus, les variables tout est mis à jour correctement, tant que je suis connectée.

Mais, dès que je me déconnecte, j’ai de gros problèmes.
