I want to translate a dynamic string similar to this:
"A text from !country written in !language"
The problem is that some words in the sentence can change depending on the gender of the country or the language. How can I best deal with cases like this? Is it possible to store gender with different strings and then let gender sensitive words be printer correctly according to the gender of the noun?
E.g.
English - Slovak
A text from Netherlands written in Dutch - Text z Holandska písaný v holandčina
I am not convinced that the arguments behind the recommendations offered under the community docs Dynamic or static links and HTML in translatable strings regarding use of placeholders for links in translatable text apply well in all cases. We are told that this is bad:
How to change language of event calendar and date too. i want to change into my language. i use google translate modules and stringoveride module it's not work so how can i do??
Hi everyone,
I have some problems with Views module. I CAN’T TRANSLATE TITLES.
I use Entity Translation and of corse Title module too.
In the Views advance settings I have just « core » & « none » like choice of translation methods. I’ve read somewhere that I suppose to have the « fields » choice too but I haven't.
What's missing?
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks.
Hello! I imported a po file with some Spanish translations. The strings with accent characters in them, e.g. "Descripción", are not showing up on the screen. Instead, those are just empty areas where the strings should be. However, words without accents, e.g. "Estado", appear fine.
Here is one of the misbehaving strings as defined in the po file:
