Translations

After fixing some problems of the translation and committing them to the repository using Tortoise CVS running in Windows XP, I noticed that the default branch is "main". But how can I change it to "Drupal-4-6"? I right-clicked my local files and choose "cvs -> branch", in the pop-up window, I set the branch to be "Drupal-4-6" and update the file in the repository. But the branch is still "main" while a new message appears and states: "Branch point for: DRUPAL-4-6 ". So how to change "branch" from "main" to "Drupal-4-6" using Tortoise CVS?

we would like to add support for non breakable space in the translation we currently make. the example would be to add " : " without having the ":" alone on a single line.

we could simply use   in the translated terms, but I was wondering if another way exists as it only apply to HTML output (we then have to distinguish between HTML terms and non HTML (text emails) terms).

I'm trying to use extractor.php to extract some pot files with no luck. I'm using it on commandline but get nothing as a response and no pot file either.

I now php is working because if I don't put any arguments I get the 'Usage: extractor.php file1 [file2 [...]]' message. However with php -f extractor.php [file] I'm only getting the promt after a few seconds. I guess php find some problems with the script and cannot go on but no error message is dispalyed.

Any suggestions?

Has anyone heard about translation to Finnish ?
If there is something going on, I would like to join ! If not, why not to organize it now ?

I just created a POT file using the extractor and while it seems to have worked more or less ok, I got this message for two lines in the file.
