Translations

I wanted to install Punjabi language on my site. Once I choose the language it gives me the choice
but how do I setup the translations. Is there a Punjabi translation file available?

I am trying to add additional languages to a basic Drupal 6 install.

Hi all,
So for reasons I wont get into here... I have my 'primary links' hard coded in page.tpl. As we are moving into Spanish localization, Im wondering if there is a way to have these menu items translate from English to Spanish. Wrap in {t} tags???

Hi, I am relatively new to Drupal but I am already in love with this great cms. The only thing that is creating headaches for me is ... how to translate the mission statement using the i18n module?

I have already searched this forum and have googled for about half an hour ... is there nobody else having problems with it?
Is there a trick how to translate the mission statement?
