I'm using the monthly archive view which comes bundled with the Views module, but I'm developing a website in a different language and I'm unable to translate month names. I tried string overrides, and I also tried to play around with locale settings, but nothing seems to be working. Does anyone know how to do this fairly easily?
I am developing multilingual (Dutch and English) site. I choose English as default language while installing and developed site with English as default language. now i need to change Dutch as default language.
i changed the Dutch as default language in Site configuration > Languages.
Now dutch became default language but when i clicked english in language switcher it dint switched to english language.
I'm about to embark on translating a Drupal 7 site to 10 different languages. I have a spreadsheet with all the translated strings on one sheet. What is the best way to translate the strings?
I know of two methods. One is using the translation interface, searching for the string and then editing that string and pasting in all the translations for that string.
The second is to create a .po file and specifically say which file/line the string I'm looking for is in and what to replace it with.
Hi, anyone know a solution to change the content language (language links at the back of contents) without changing the website language?
Thanks for your reply
But If I try to save an article or basic page in Non-English languages (like Sinhalese, Tamil, Arab, Hindi), it shows an error message and does not save.
I'm using Drupal's languages, and have tried language packs (.po) which downloaded from Drupal site. And the user interface works fine in that languages. But saving does not work.
I'm new to Drupal. Please explain me step by step.
