Translations

I am trying to make a multilingual web site. However I cannot translate the numbers in ordered list. That means when I try to make something like following:

১. এক
২. দুই
৩. তিন

It turns into something like following:

1. এক
2. দুই
3. তিন

Can anyone help me to translate these numbers?

i use the locale and content translation modul to have a multlingual site.
can anybody tell me where the html of the language switcher block is being created.
i want flags instead of text. i could not find it in the locale or translation modul and not in the template.

i use the locale and content translation modules.
In admin/structure/types/manage/'type' i have enabled multilingual support field 'Enabled with translation'.
In admin/config/regional/language/configure/url i choosed 'path prefix' and in admin/config/regional/language/configure i enabled URL.

but the url aliases are not working. the lang-switcher does not add the lang (for example /de) to the url.

can anybody help me please ?

I have a site in English with a main menu with both primary and child/secondary links as a block in the menu area. It all works fine. Now I've translated my site into Hebrew and I'm trying to set up a translated menu. I've created a new menu and called it menu-hebrew. Under structure-> menu -> settings -> hebrew I set: source for main links -> 'menu-hebrew' and source for secondary links -> 'menu-hebrew'.
I enabled it in the block area and all the primary links show but NO secondary link, I want a drop down menu like I have on the english site.

whenever I update the Translations for my test website (localhost), the updating process starts normally but after a while stops and gives the following error message:
An AJAX HTTP error occurred. HTTP Result Code: 500 Debugging information follows. Path: /drupal/batch?render=overlay&id=34&op=do StatusText: Internal Server Error ResponseText:
And no update is done.

When I use a drupal theme such as Garland, a content and access any, appears a translation tab and clicking on it displays down a translation options.

However, the theme I'm creating the flap appears to translation, but the table below does not appear to translate.

I feel that I have to print some variable or function for this frame translation appears.
