I'm attempting to upgrade from Drupal 6 to Drupal 7, but for some reason, the installation keeps aborting itself due to an error with the Taxonomy module.

The error I'm being thrown is: The update process was aborted prematurely while running update #7004 in taxonomy.module. taxonomy_vocabulary_node_type does not exist. All errors have been logged.

Does anyone know why this is happening? I've tried adding taxonomy_vocabulary_node_type manually via PHPMyAdmin, but that doesn't work either. I feel like I've tried everything...

Hi, just updated to the new version and am I ever confused!
Update went well, but saw the error messages regarding the htaccess files and tried following the links to the correct wording.

Now here's where I must have gone wrong, because I got the dreaded WSOD and couldn't access my site at all so had to do a restore from backup. Good thing I remembered to do that first.

So, here's what I did and maybe someone can point out what I did wrong and perhaps save another newbie from the same error.

I am new to Drupal world. I have working expertise in WordPress. I have installed Drupal 7.1 however whenever I login it says you need to update from 7.14 to 7.19. I downloaded the 7.19 .tar file and uploaded from module . But its showing the following error
The file drupal-7.24.tar.gz could not be saved, because it exceeds 2 MB, the maximum allowed size for uploads.
