I'm having the failed to get available update data problem with core, modules, and themes. Drupal 7 instructions were to empty the cache_update table based on forum and Google research.. There is no such table in Drupal 8. What course of action is required?
Hello,
I have a couple Drupal websites (on different hosts) that I have updated from v7.39 to v7.41. They both have updated successfully and patches were applied (using update.php). However, now when I go into check for "Available Updates" all the Boxes are grey and I see a message "Failed to get available update data for 35 projects.". When I use the "Check Manually" link I see the progress bar saying...
"Trying to check available update data..."
"Failed to check available update data for Zen."
I have a Drupal 6 site that I'm upgrading to Drupal 7 and I'm having some problem with Views and by custom CCK fields. I migrated the fields over to Drupal 7 and they all (eventually) seemed to migrate over fine, however, Views did not pick them up. When I go into a View all I see is a lot of broken handlers. Once the fields are migrated should my Views just pick them up or do I need to go into each and every View and re-add them? I have almost 300 custom fields and lots of Views and that would be quite time consuming.
This is with Drupal code 7.41. Sometimes I'm getting the following warning, but it seems the database updates complete, but I am concerned about what would be causing this anomaly.
I am trying to upgrade Menu Node Edit module (Drupal 6) to Workbench Access module (Drupal 7) as part of Drupal 6 to Drupal 7 site upgrade. I have been looking everywhere but cannot find any information about existing data migration - have you done something similar, have you got links to pages I can find useful to perform this task?
Looking at Menu Node Edit as well as Workbench Access page it states that upgrade path would be provided but even dev version of Workbench Access seems to miss this.
