Content Migration Post Drupal Upgrade

Hi All,

I am looking for some feedback. We recently upgraded our Drupal 6.3 to 7.39 manually by doing code upgrade. During the upgrade process, however some users made some changes/addition of content to the current (6.3) version. Since those changes were not documented could a database refresh from older version (6.3) be done to upgraded version (7.39) to capture the changes/additions done or it has to be done manually?

thank you for your feedback,

AJ

Drupal Installation on Windows Server

Hi All,

I am looking for some feedback. We had a previous installation of Drupal 6.3 on Windows Server 2008 with PHP version 5.3 and configured to work on IIS. We recently upgraded the Drupal to version 7.39 manually. We also set up a new server environment of Windows Server 2012, where we are planning to install the upgraded version of Drupal.
What PHP and any other open source software do I need to install on this new server to make the upgraded Drupal work on it?

thank you for your feedback.

Drupal 8 update fails

Running Drupal 8 with PHP 5.5.14 on openSUSE Leap 42.1, I am unable to update from the admin pages.

Error message:

Failed to get available update data for one project.

The error log shows:

Drupal database update error

When trying to update the databse I have been getting this error.

I did recently move the site from a mamp server to a ampps server. Tried a number of ways such as trying to refresh the cache in devel, but not worked

Exception: Invalid or missing cache bin specified: datasources in DrupalDatabaseCache->clear() (line 521 of

7.41 upgrade fails with Apache 1.3

After thinking about the situation, I double checked to see if Drupal is only rated with Apache 2.0, or also the earlier versions.
