I am trying to save new content with a content type form. (Worked up until 2 days ago.) I hadn't updated any modules or drupal core.
I can bring up the add new content page and fill it out as well as upload the audio. But when I hit save, it sits there for a minute and then reloads the "add content" page with nothing filled in. No errors
I'm lost. Ive cleared site cache, run cron, and made sure all modules and the core are up to date.
I've recently moved to Drupal from Wordpress and while I love Drupal generally, the update process is extremely laborious and just seems generally antiquated in comparison. With Wordpress it's just one click of a button and security updates happen automatically.
It seems ludicrous in this day and age that I need to put my site offline for every update. It also isn't realistic to expect site owners to check their site every day for updates; this makes Drupal unsuitable for anything but large team projects.
Hello. I have an existing and very old Drupal 6 site. I want to rebuild it from scratch but preserve the content. My idea is to start with a fresh Drupal 8 install, get functionality where I want it with little to no content, then get the appearance right. After that, I'll load in the massive amount of data. My question is how do I stage this new site on my web host and thoroughly test it without bringing down my production site?
Thank you for the help in advance - what a great community!
My site is down after upgrading to Drupal 7.41 today. I run update.php and get two messages. First says, The phpinfo() function has been disabled for security reasons. This has been confirmed by my ISP and they say they can't enable it. Second says, Visitors GeoIP module The geoip PHP extension is not installed!
I have a Drupal instance and there was a module update for "Views" that i did this morning and my site seemed fine after completing the update, i know i browsed the site a little afterwards - now when i try to access the Drupal instance i get the following error:
Fatal error: Undefined class constant 'MYSQL_ATTR_USE_BUFFERED_QUERY' in /home3/randudec/public_html/drupal/includes/database/mysql/database.inc on line 50
My site is hosted with Hostmonster if that makes any sort of difference - my site for the Drupal instance is:
