Entity "published/unpublished" status

I came to a point where I need something like node's publish/unpublish status on terms in vocabulary.
The more I dig for the best solution, the more I agree on this that there should be a status on entity level, not just on a node level.

That would be good if you want to hide some terms or comments from users.
I just want to start a debate about this here.

Drupal tripping ModSec

Hey,

I've got a Drupal install running on my server, and it keeps tripping my Mod_Security rules and therefore I keep getting locked out of my own server!
(My own fault really ;) Getting too worried out security!)

I was just wondering if there was something I could change in Drupal, or a change I could make on the server or in the Drupal files (I've got full access to the server).
