Customers also viewed/bought

I am developing an e-commerce website for my friends local business. I have integrated Ubercart for that into the site.

Now my friend has asked me to include the "customer who viewed/bought this also viewed/bought these" feature.

Is there any existing module (compatible with Ubercart) available on drupal.org for this or do I have to develop it on my own.

Also, if any such module exist for any other carts (other than ubercart)also please let me know.

Building community

Hi,

I am looking for a CMS that I can use to build an online community. Two of the main features I'm looking for are:
- Multiple separate communities of which a user can be a member
- Within a community users should be able to swap items with each other (no money involved, just swapping). The backend should gather all items that all users put up for trade and display it and make it searchable for all other users

Custom directory

I want to develop a custom directory which contains profiles of people.
The profiles are not of people who are users of the site, rather the site will be used only by a handful of people who will use it as a directory containing profiles of a large number of people.

Module to setup a marketplace where buyers and sellers can interact

Dear All,

I am new at website development and I am seeking to put up a marketplace website where sellers can register advertise for free and buyers can see all the products available for certain categories like used laptops, used smart phones and electronic devices.

Can anybody point me to the right module/modules to install in my drupal?

I would appreciate help from you expert in drupal.

Thanks.

Best regards,

Irabelle

Running Drupal without standard databases like MySql

An idea stuck in my mind that can I run drupal without standard databases like MySQL, etc.
Can I store data in to flat file using json object?

Below are the starting points I am considering to explore before going ahead for active development :

  • Understanding drupal installation process step where it creates tables.
  • Module enable process where it create/update tables.
  • Unerstanding drupal database layer
  • Cache data

Drupal distribution site - why does drupal need to approve it?

I just set up a drupal distribution site - why does drupal need to approve it before I can work with it? Am I missing an essential feature of what distribution sites are? Arcticexplorer
