I am strill trying to choose what CMS i am going to use for a future project so i have a few questions about Drupal.

Is Drupal blocking in anyway bot spams? I have tried a few other scripts and i have been getting like 10 bot signup and comment spams.

What about search engine optimizations? I have read in this forum that Drupal has a problem with categories and pagination and google will take them like duplicate content.

i will need to have a simple site translated in several languages: english, french, spanish, portugese, german, japanese and chinese.

Can I do this with a single drupal 5 installation ? Will I not face problem with charset setting in the database, and in the page.tpl.php ?

How to deal with this ?

Can somebody tell me if I can use the same MySql database with drupal and mediawiki?

For that matter, is it ever possible to use the same database with two different types of software?

And finally, can I use the same database for two sites: xxxxxxx.com and yyyyyyy.com?

Thanks so much. I know these aren't your typical questions, but I love drupal and use drupal as much as possible (for a non-techie) and now my boss wants to figure this out.

I'll install Drupal 6 when it will be stable. I want to build a website with phpbb3, mediawiki and coppermine. Are there some ways to make this software work with a common user table or something like that (a bridge or a script that updates the various databases)?
