File attachments to contact form?

I´m hunting a CMS on the behalf of a customer of mine. She requests a sort of a contact form that the visitor can fill in and in return recieve a mail with some PDF files as an attachment.

I understand that it´s not core functionality in Drupal but is it possible to customize Drupal to add that functionality?

Thanks

How to: After Login -> Show alternative page rather than account

I am using v5.5 and my question is how to guide the users to another page rather to the account after login?
Unfortunately, I can not find the setting for this.

I already use the "Advanced front page settings" module, which is changing the standard front page, but not the page after the login. Or did I something wrong with the module?

I tried already the different types like redirect, full, etc. but without any success. Additionally, I can not find something in this forum.

Any help please

What doctype is best for migrating a site into drupal? I currently have been migrating my site into xhtml from 4.01 strict. In midstream I find out that this may be mistake. What is the best way to go to intrgrate my site into drupal. Currently the site is huge (25 megs of data and images). Any help is appreciated.

Sharing user accounts across two servers

Hi - I have a unique situation where I need to share user accounts across two servers in different countries.

I see that Drupal can easily share the user tables across two drupal installations on a single server - can it share user tables across two different databases on two different servers? If so, how?

I've been looking at OpenID as another possible solution - any other ideas are appreciated!

Is Drupal suitable for a 'diary' application?

Hi,

One of my customers has an existing website which I built last year and he would like me to add a 'diary' function. What he wants to do is have a list of events which site uses can search. The fields will be:

Date
Location
Type of event
Date
Comments

Only the first 4 fields need to be searchable.

He would like to be able to create admin user accounts who can add/modify content but nothing else.

I am not a database geek so the whole thing should be fairly simple for me to administer!
