I've got a question regarding drupal e-commerce system. In fact probably i am looking for an extension to it. I would like to sell one product type per month. It will be an ebook in three pricing versions.
version A - you get first 10 pages [5$]
version B - you get half of book [10$]
version C - you get whole book [15$]
I have a couple active 6.x Drupal sites and have started building a new 7.x site, but we have realized that the content of the new site is going to be a bit different than the other sites. By this I mean that rather being a bunch of text pages organized into books, the nature of the information is the sort of thing that one would expect to capture in a database, i.e., tables which relate to other tables, presentations based on a query which links multiple tables, ability to sort and select by various fields in various tables, etc.
Was looking to make or hire someone to create a website for me;
It's a commercial webpage where I will be selling new car parts.
What I had in mind was a simple page where customers can fill in their
car registration number/select vehicle from a list and then browse for products
that I may or may not have in stock. There will be some articles to, but nothing fancy.
I'm making a site that will have videos that link to my youtube channel. Does Drupal have a way to put page numbers at the bottom of the page so visitors can click on them to get to older videos quicker? Sorry if this is confusing or a simple fix. I'm new to Drupal and want to be sure it can do what I want before I start.
I have a long standing site (it's been around since 1999) and I've wanted to use a CMS for some time but I've always been hesitant due to all the custom code I have. I'm ready to make the switch but I'd like to see if Drupal is the right fit. A few of my concerns/requirements:
1) I have an SMF based forum. I'm not concerned about continuing the forum but I did tap into the SMF users to manage user accounts throughout my site. How difficult is it to port SMF users and possibly form posts to Drupal? I searched the site and seem to see conflicting information.
I want to know if i could develop mobile responsive sites in Drupal Content Management System. I have learned Bootstrap specially for developing such sites recently. WordPress and other CMS also provide responsive themes for better user experience and high speed down load of web pages. Bootsrap is based on grid system that divides each small/medium/or big screen in 12 grids horizontally. If yes, then please let me know how it works and be useful for creating the responsive sites or web applications?
