Before you start

I'm trying to determine if Drupal is a good fit for us. Our website is www.advaloremservices.com. Is Drupal able to provide the functionality we need? We are a business tax services firm and our website needs to provide general info about us, though the Client Access section is KEY. We need to allow our clients access to their downloadable tax returns (what we have filed for them; large PDF files). An example client login is Login: guest, Password: password.

Has anyone read this book yet?

I am looking to a suitable webhost in Melbourne, Australia for Drupal and have a found that I have to choose between a PHP4 environment or PHP5 environment.
If I go with PHP5, will Drupal 6 still work? And the modules?

Wondering if this is possible... haven't found anything that exactly fits this situation so far in the forums. I'm sorry if I'm double-posting.

The site would contain three content types: Events, Organizations, Venues.

An administrator would create orgs. and venues, and assign users to specific organizations and venues. At that point, a user could log in and create an event. This event would automatically be assigned to that user's specific organization and venue.

Is that possible? How could that be done? Any help at all would be fantastic.

Hello everyone , I've been investigating for a CMS framework for 2 weeks ,with the purpose to choose the best CMS platform as our company's next project.
After some work, I find Drupal might be my best choice ,but I am wondering the performance meets our requirement.

As far as I know, The requirement of my company's next project is not so clear , so I am wondering someone maybe have already test the Drupal's performance already , if so , I am very appreciated if you share with me. thank you very much.

I have a client and he has a 64 paged book that he wants fully readable on his website and a pdf download seperate like we know the pdf is easy. I don't knwo if there is a module to allow for mulipul pages to an artical or not but I would like to do that I noticed in the mudle section they have mroe than one page so I'm hopeing it is possible but I would like your input how do I do it? So simple but I've been stuck for days.
