Before you start

Hello,

I've created a View with Display Block and can see it listed in the Blocks admin screen but I can't move it to another region or edit the Block and change any of the settings. It's like it's set in a READ ONLY state.

I can't find anything in Permissions for this.

I'm logged in as User1.

Has anyone come across this before?

Hello,

I can move the "Powered By Drupal" block into another region (e.g. Content) but when I create a View and try assign it to the Content region and click save, it doesn't stay there. I had the same problem last night with the Related Content module.

Hi guys,

I am looking to use drupal for the first time to develop a customers website as I've heard good things about the system.

Before I start the process, can anyone confirm if drupal is able to accomodate the following:

Forum
Ability for users to create their own pages for their own events
Ability for users to upload photo's onto their own events
Ability for users to comment on other photo's
Permissions - certain people can see other peoples profiles/event pages

I would like to know which would be the best Version of Drupal for a Social Networking site....

Drupal 5 has 4518 modules and Drupal 6 has 3277 modules

I would like to create a fairly large site... Similar to MySpace or Facebook or maybe Digg....

I have good shared hosting from www.vexxhost.com with 3TB space and 30TB bandwidth.... With FFMPEG/FFMPEG-PHP (in case I want to create something like youtube)
