Before you start

i am putting together a top 100 list site that people will vote on. there will be a list of 100 overall and 10 categories lists of top 10 in each category. i am not sure which voting modules to use in which drupal 5 or 6. some mods are ready only in drupal 6 and some in drupal 5. ANY clues how to start to put this together will be greatly appreciated.

I am a new user, and I am going to start my first project; I started my first project after reading guides, tutorials, .... and nowthere is my first problem too. I need to collect addresses both for user profiles and cck nodes.
I also need to set some cck nodes as fields on user profiles. Especially I have to organize users (doctors) and laboratories. Every doctor has his address and avery lab too; if a doctor works into a lab that is already collected I would like that in the user profile there would be shown the name of that lab linked to a view on its details.

- Messaging using "@company" email

Can Drupal provide this functionality?
