Before you start

Before you start, ugh, I started already. I need some direction or a slap in the face. I have posted on Utter Access and someone there referred me to CMS systems. I studied J, WP, and this and have chosen to go with Drupal. I have eaten, slept, read, watched and drank drupal for the last five days. I can build my own site and add all kinds of wonderful things but I am sort of stumped at the moment. It may be fatigue or just stupidity but I cannot seem to figure out how I can keep user accounts private. I want to have specific user accounts that can view specific doc's that I upload.

I've been asked to put together a potential website for a client. It'll have a series of standard pages and a news page regularly updated by the client(s), along with a forum. They'll possibly want to expand the site at some point in the future too.

I've been coding sites in text editors since for over ten years, and can find my way around PHP and CSS. However, I'm new to CMS.

I need to make a website for a company I work in. We have plenty of products we need categorize on our website, the thing is I need them to be categorized in different ways. The first thing is to categorize them by the manufacturer and then some deeper options (for exaple new Product content type like: name, description, photo, Product menu link and url alias). Then I need them to be categorized as a type, for example few manufacturers have graphic cards, embedded motherboards etc, so for example I create taxonomy Type where in each Product I choose few terms to describe its type (for example Apple/Macbook in Product Menu, and terms: laptop, small, 13 inch). So this is the way I am planning to use to make it.

Issue 1: When I create a new Product, I add a menu link to it, when I delete it, the item in a menu still exists, how to connect deleting Product Content with deleting its menu link?

In drupal 6 only FOUR features (BLOCKS, MENUS, MODULES, THEMES) are present but other features like views, pages etc. are not present which i saw in a vidoe tutorila. how we access views, pages features on drupal 6. please help me. THANKS

Is there a good way in Drupal 6 or Drupal 7 to require moderator/administrator approval prior to being published? I'd like to use fivestar comments to allow users to write reviews of nodes. However, I would like to have comments on those node types default to unpublished status so that I can check the reviews before publishing them. I was searching the module repository for over an hour and couldn't find anything to match this functionality. Does anyone have any recommendations?
