I am a newbie at open source CMS and so please forgive me if this has been posted already.
I was wondering what are the advantages and disadvantages of each CMS and if there is a clear cut winner? i.e. how fast is it to build a robust site? Is Drupal more powerful in the sense it is highly customizable? Which CMS has a less learning curve?
Hi i want to know whether , there is a specific installation for "drupal" that handles social networking Feature's. For example there Atrium is for intranet. So what's for social networking?
I need to be able to create educational course modules. For each module, as an administrator I will need to be able to add various educational videos and documents for download by the student, but these downloadable items are only available to a student once they've paid for that particular course module via paypal. Once paid for via paypal then the user will have a limited time (configurable) to download the items available for that module.
I need to integrate a couple of PSD files (all really different, so I probably can't make a common theme for every page).
I also need insert custom lists that can be modified in the admin, to implement a form to save email addresses, verify with a captcha (jQuery CAPTCHA hand-made), validate the input and store it in a database.
Can everything be done with Drupal? I went over the documentation and I can't find a page about static pages like this, same for the form validation.
