I'm evaluating CMS tools for creating a news site with standard requirements: front page composition (3-columns); formatting for mobile devices; news with title, sub-title and heading paragraph; sections; comments; articles; blogs; widgets (advertising, weather, polls, stock exchange...) and so forth.

I need to build a site which main purpose will be to manage a database with about 40,000 entries. I know Drupal and I know that it wouldn't have a problem with a site with 40,000 nodes with 50 fields each. But I'm not sure wether I should use Drupal or look at something new for this.

We have to be able to export this database at any state to one Excel file (or a different format that can automatically be converted into an Excel file). There is a module to export views, but from my experience it would take many minutes for such a large file.

Hi everyone. I would just like to know if I can transfer my current site into Drupal? It's a HTML CSS Site and it and it takes too much time to enter individual products by manual coding. Is it possible for me to integrate my current site into Drupal? And if so how?

I have client who have multiple news sites, he want one admin face for all the sites, and when he publish a story he can select where to publish on which site, under which term he want!

one database, after that he want to do cluster, HA, do Drupal support this ?

If you're planning on using Simple Scripts to install Drupal 7, there's a couple things you should do before the installation.
To avoid your site using your personal email address when sending automated messages, do the following:
1. Log into your web hosting provider, such as Host Monster.
2. Go to Profiles and change your personal email address to the address you want your site to use when sending emails.
For example: info@example.com

I'm about to redesigned a customers website and I wanted to know if durpal offers a strong shopping cart feature, I also wanted to know if there was a plugin that would allow a customer to type in a text box and the worlds will appear on a photo.
