Hi Guys, this is my first post here and I am completely new to Drupal. We are currently evaluating Drupal for our corporate Intranet and we have a few technical 'restrictions' that we must adhere to.
Can someone please tell me how stable Drupal 7 would be on Windows Server 2008, SQL Server 2008 and Apache ? The Apache bit isn't as vital as i can probably get away with IIS but the others are non-negotiable unfortunately.
Any advice or information would really be appreciated.
I am considering building a site for people who share my hobby of collecting pipe tobacco. The site would be analogous to those sites for wine collectors who catalog all their bottles with vintages, notes, etc.
I want the site to have the following features and functionality:
I am almost convinced that I've already seen the theme bellow somewhere but I've got no idea where : http://www.krauthammer.com/fr
Even in the source code we cannot find it, he has surely been modified, there is only a mention of a theme called krauthammer as the name of the company name.
That tells you something?
Thank you for your help and please excuse my poor english.
Can anyone point me to any detailed case studies for high-traffic Drupal powered community sites like empowher.com or supportgroups.com. Even though these sites are both based on Drupal, there is next to no detail on Drupal.org about their technology / server architecture and infrastructure. I am trying to figure out what is required to execute a high-traffic community site with a high level of authenticated users.
