Idea for a new website, is it dooable?

Hello!

I am trying to create a simple website for my business. Therefore my first post on
this community will be about this.

The idea is very simple but i have not found any module that will make it work.

My business is specialised in transport, an agency that "leases" drivers to other companies
that are underemployed or in need of personel for different types of transportation.

What i need to make my life a bit simpler is a place on the web where clients and drivers can log
in, get a list of all chauffeurs, pictures of them and what kind of transports they are specialised in.

When they click on the chauffeur his schedule for that month should appear, and what I want displayed is
what days/hours they work, if he/she has any time left the client should be able to book that driver
and possibly leave a comment to.

Clients should be able to see who is available and be able too book. And chauffeurs should be able to see their
schedule, if they have been booked and read comments from the client that booked them.

All accounts will be handed out in person, to both personel and clients.

Is there any module/s that will let me do this, and is it possible to perform with allmost no programing skills?

Im not completely new to the world of CMS and have used drupal, joomla, modx etc. to create simple websites but nothing
of this complexity.

Writing a backend in Drupal

Since Drupal say to be much more like a framework than a CMS I would like to test it :)

I would like to write a back end for a mobile Application that should be able to:
1) Read a set of content in XML format.
I think this is the easiest think... I'm figuring out to create a View for a content type and then find a way to show the View as XML. Admin user can create contents as usual.

show services using Drupal Commerce

I am using Drupal Commerce for my website, as it will easy for me get payment for services provided.
My website doesn't contain many products. It has only 4 services (A,B,C,D) each cost some price. Now the logged user clicks on 'Add service', fills necessary information, choose any one service & then makes payment. Then this service will be activated & displayed on his dashboard. The user can add the same product n number of times. So, his dashboard displays:

My Services:

> Service:A
title: xczzzcccc
date: xx/xx/xxxx

Forum based Modules

What is the best Forum module with Drupal or anyone? I am looking at creating a Forum Based website and need to know what my options are besides paying someone to custom build a site. I have tried Wordpress but I did not like the way it looked and worked for what i want.

New to Drupal Need Some Basic Info

We are changing our site from e-commerce to info only. Before I start studying the software extensively, would like to know if it is possible to do the following with Drupal:

Have different types of members access different pages where they can download certain files.

Is there a module available to handle download access of PDF files?

Thanks

Are there modules to be able to do this?

Hi Folks,

I need to build a website with very similar functionality to this one I've included. It's basically a database where you can pick an area, then that narrows your available selections, then you make another selection, ultimately setting filters until you see what you want. I'm hoping something is prebuilt where I could just populate the database with the appropriate options. I would really appreciate any thoughts. Thank you much.
