I am am looking for a simple project management system and thought drupal might have a solution.
I need to be able to put in projects, milestones/due dates. I would like some reporting features.
Can anyone point me in a direction or give me an idea if this is possible?
Anything that would allow properties to be shown with prices, descriptions, map, and the usual real estate site features? Basically a Zillow type setup that runs on Drupal.
Wordpress works well, but is a bit of a PITA to add properties and can be a little slow after all the mods/addons are made.
There is a script we currently use which we bought for a fair deal of money, but it too has been rather slow and buggy.
Myself and a group of developers from our church are tackling a project for a nationwide ministry and we've decided to try using drupal as our framework. What we're looking for is best practices and advice on how to share the effort and ownership of developing a drupal site.

I have been recently promoted to an office position in a small cable installation contracting company. I quickly wrote a few excel vba macros that were hailed as "magic". My boss asked me to come up with a "paperless solution" to our daily paperwork routine. I shouldn't need to explain why I am trying to use Drupal. I would like to hear an opinion about whether this project is well conceived or if I should simply tell my boss that I cannot. Then I will humbly ask for any advice, insight, modules, forum posts, or other recommendations.
