Hi, I'm trying to build a stable Article Management System and trying to see if Drupal is the way for me. So, can Drupal be modified into an easy-to-manage Article CMS? If so, which Drupal modules and extra downloads do I require to produce such a system? Thanks to everyone in advance.
I am attempting to create a website that informs users on a range of subjects
I want there to be a menu on the left hand side of the page, when a heading is clicked, the sub headings present themselves (which contribution would this be?)
I also want users to be able to send me file they wish to be added to my directory after approval (what contribution would allow this?)
sorry for the newby questions, have had little experience with OS software apart from OSCommerce
i have a site that i simply want to add a updateable news section. ive never used drupal but can i just include a global file that sets up the querys and have a simple variable loop out the contents of a sql database and have the css i have already written style it? does drupal even do this? of course later if i want could i do the same with the many modules on the web? i cringe when i see gigantic portal templates of other drupal driven sites. i basically just want a admin to insert stuff into a database for me and i can handle the rest.
I've got a 4.7 site that I want to upgrade to 5.1. However, my site uses the Daily module fairly extensively, and it looks like Daily is only available for version 4.6 and 4.7. Is there anything equivalent for 5.1??
Hi, I work for a small K-12 school, and we're thinking of using DrupalEd this next schoolyear. We are currently using Drupal (version 4.6 or so), and I was wondering what the conversion process would entail? For example, would I just download and install DrupalEd, or would I do something more complicated...? Forgive me if this seems like an ignorant question, but I'm rather new to this. Thank you.
Hi, I'm quite a dummy when it comes to php although I have worked with drupal before (more than a year ago). I used winlamp in the past and it worked fine for me, the only problem is I sort of forgot everything that needs to be changed after the winlamp installation for me to actually access a drupal database created in phpmyadmin.
