I am about to move a drupal with gallery module.
Is there anything I need to know?
I am pretty comfortable with moving CMS website.
But, it's been always 1 database.
now I am looking at 2 databases.. I want to know if there is something I don't know about.
Hi all
I am a new imployee at my workplace (student position) and my job at the moment is to learn how to use drupal for bulding multiple sites. Finding an answer for the next question may give me some credit...
Anyway my question is if it is possible (and if yes how?) to use one drupal install and one database to administrate multiple sites in multiple IP's.
Dear Drupalers,
I was wandering if you could advise me.
You see, I got a project to develop a site for a small business.
What I am thinking of doing is what I did before. However this is what usually happends:
-Upload drupal to site. Install modules and things.
-Backup.
-Tinker with the things/code.
-Backup.
-Tinker with things/code.
-FORGET to backup.
-Tinker some more -> Crash. Loose a week of work.
What module(s) could be used to achieve the ability to add custom fields to each user?
I'd like to have for example fields like "Job title", "Birthday" and "Marital status", that each user fill in and then I could print them out on the user profile page. I'd like to print out the user list ordered by age and such, but can't do it if people just stuff all those info into their custom profile, which is just one field at the moment..
Hello,
I am wondering if drupal would be able to do what i need. Also, if yes, what modules would be the right ones for me (there are so many of them).
I am trying to set up a community site. The main page would be news, on the main page would be headline news, with the chose of different categories for other news articles (sort of like Yahoo news's main page). Also, that there should be the option of discussing a news article (but there has to be the ability of moderator approval).
