i know its in arabic, but basically members can add articles from other websites and itll show the username of the poster, the website its from and also allows comments and voting/hits. it also provides categories to place these articles in. also, the url to the article points to the original site that it was taken from.
I'm evaluating a few platforms with the end goal of building a similar site to Seeking Alpha - though not finance related. Its essentially a news site where users submit content but editors review and filter the content before its displayed. The editorial process will need management control to easily publish the content. I'll need to add in modules for forums, email and rss subscription. For the most part, any CMS can probably handle it but I want the cleanest fastest set up that will scale.
I have created several domains with identical content for affiliates. The pages are written in .php.
I want the different affiliates to be able to create there own unique pages and blogs and then link these directly to the existing php pages. I have had all of the domains referring to different sub-folders on the same system. I thought perhaps I could install drupal in the public folder and leave the existing folders the way there were, and provide a link from the new drupal pages over to the existing pages.
I have been suggested to look to CMS' available in filling the needs of my company.
We are needing an online database where I can control the content the users see, is secure, and can transmit files to users that include photos and .pdf files (scans of paper information). It would also need to be able to allow users to enter certain information and email messages to us regarding content. It would also need to be able to display forms that fill in the content of the file in certain areas and can be printed on demand.
I have two websites I would like to use Drupal for.
### 1 ###
The first one is a website for my old school which has a large collection of people all around the world.
I would like to create a community style site for them but they will need to be sorted by the year attended.
I would also like to add the ability for them to create a gallery and other personalisations.
The society will need the ability for them to make donations to keep it running.
