I have a fairly large drupal site and I want to create a small mobile site with limited functionality and dont want all the content (yet!). I think my main goal will be to eventualy create a mobile first responsive theme (i have been looking at omega) but in the first case i need to have just a few sections of the site available.
Some html elements are not translated by Google translator because of the large embedding, or errors, or big text size (I have not understood). How can I solve it?
1. Introduction
Following the pen friends relationship and postcrossing initiatives, I'm thinking to kick-off an initiative for crossing notebooks (such as Moleskine, Rhodia, Oxford, Quo Vandis, etc). Need to set up a site for managing the workflow. I think Drupal framework would be very useful to build on top of it the customized module.
The purpose of the project is sharing ideas, drawing, sketchs, learning languages and knowing other cultures and fortify the friendship between nations and cultures, in summary communicate people around the world.
Hi All,
I am currently writing a web based application and have found that drupal is a great framework to start with, basically all i install the drupal core and then starting writing all my own custom modules from there, taking advantage of drupal's great form management, authentication and users, themeing and other great core functions.
I tried searching the site for discussions related to my question, but I can tell you that searching the terms "module" and "categor*" return a boatload of results. So, maybe someone has answered this question already, but I will ask it again.
Specifically, on the "Download & Extend" section of the site, the Module Categories that are listed do not include one specifically for photo or image management. The closest term included there is "Media" which covers a whole host of other modules (262 of them today for D7 alone).
Is there a general overview for Drupal end-users about planned differences between Drupal 7 and Drupal 8? If I go to the Drupal Core page the links are to Drupal 8 Updates and How to Help and to the Drupal 8 Initiatives group, my impression is that both of these get very specific and technical very quickly.
However, a Google search on any of the following for site:drupal.org gets no exact-phrase results, implying there is no basic overview page for Drupal 8
