I am planning to buy a premium module from a reputed provider, but the license is only for one year.
My question is , can i redistribute the module by adding some modifications on the module for free ?

and can i edit the module on my own way ?

I'm looking to understand whether Drupal can gather information from several sources and aggregate it into a single page.

For example: We have different types of information scattered on different tools. I would like the end user to provide an ID number then dynamically pull information from other tools and databases using that ID number as an "Index". Rather than visit every tool individually.

I'm getting the feeling that perhaps Drupal or any CMS for that matter isn't really suited for this task, but perhaps a more appropriate solution would be a portal.

Hi all. My name is Christopher Carfi (Drupal.org profile), and I work for GoDaddy. We'd really like to hear your opinion about experiences you've had with GoDaddy – both things we're doing well, as well as things we could do better. The company has gone through a LOT of change in the past couple of years. Our new CEO, Blake Irving, just did an AMA on Reddit that addressed many of the questions (and issues, and perceptions…) that the tech community has with GoDaddy.

Our office always creates manuals for each site that we build. A lot of things are pretty much the same like uploading photos, tags, etc.

For more complex sites there can be several content types. Once that happens creating a manual can become pretty labor intensive. We're spending upwards of 4-8 hours on some of them.

Does anyone else out there do this? Do you add in extra time to the budget for the manual? Is there some mind blowing easy way of putting manuals together that we don't know about?
