I've been re-reading the Drupal "System Requirements" page and ruminating over my recent home-sprints, where I've updated my own modules for the latest Drupal and backported any new code to earlier versions of Drupal. I'm keeping some of my Drupal 5 modules alive simply because it's easy to do, and it makes an interesting reference point to see the evolution of Drupal across different releases.
I want to start contributing to open source and think Drupal deserves my first attempt.
I am very new to Drupal and would like the Gurus on this forum to help me make the best first attempt.
I have quite a bit of web dev experience and have done a few php projects (small in size).
Any ideas where I can start?
Your help will be really appreciated.
Kind Regards
Whesley
At Bonitasoft, we are using Drupal to build our Community website (http://community.bonitasoft.com). We have some interesting features, like a Q&A, Ideas management, notification system, moderation tools, and some more to come soon, like gamification (points & badges) and wiki.
We already have other companies and communities interested if we could share our work. Since the best way seems to create a Drupal distribution, we are working on that.
Hi. I'm Garrett Albright, the developer of the Pathologic module. If you use or have used Pathologic on your sites, I'd like some feedback on a direction I plan to take with the project. Please read on and respond.
This may be a dumb question and if it is shut me down.
I've spent the last eight years on the web content side in non-profits, mostly on Drupal systems. As you can imagine, budgets are tight, so whenever we don't have money to get a proper fix by paying a developer, I've figured out a workaround. I've picked up Javascript, JQuery and even on one awful custom PHP-based CMS some PHP very quickly.
Hello fellows,
I am trying to build a website like turbo tax. Where the user has to file different type of documents.
User open an account
Instead of the user having to file the same contact information for every form, he only has to do it once and the system will automatically add the information on all the forms (PDF)
If the user has to file a second form and the form number 2 has additional fields. The system will tell him about the fields.
