Premium Themes

Hi all,

I'm completely new to Drupal having developed a few sites with Wordpress.

My question:
would subscribing to the (adaptive) premium themes be a good idea for a new person like myself ? I like the look of the codex one but I also like the look of the corporate clean free one. Is there more support provided with premier themes and / or are they modified more easily ?

I don't have an issue with the annual fee as I am developing websites commercially.

Many thanks in advance.

Sean

Search on Drupal.org website

I'm looking for module named Views Bulk Operations on drupal web page.

When I'm using search form (from homepage) and enter "Views Bulk Operations" + choose radio button "Modules" - serarch results are missing desired module (Views Bulk Operations).
If I enter just "Bulk" + "Modules" radio button, "Views Bulk Operations" module appears as a first choice.

Looks like buggy search.

Examples of Implementation

First let me say I'm not a drupal developer nor a web designer; I only work with them.

My question is, how can I see completed implementation of drupal modules, not just sandboxes? For example, my company is looking at adding a Q&A section to the site that works like stackexchange. We are considering our options, and Answers looks like a popular choice. How can I see what others have done with this module (or any module for that matter)?

Am I using the right title for the job I want?

I've been calling myself a Junior Front-End Developer, but I'm running into job descriptions that look like:

  • HTML, CSS, ASP, JS, PHP, MySQL
  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • Drupal 7
  • Custom theming
  • Custom module creation

What I want is more like:

  • Content creation
  • Content management
  • Content types, fields, views
  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • HTML, CSS

Am I using the proper title, or is there something else I should be calling myself?

Thanks!
