Installing Drupal

Hi everyone,
I am having a bit of trouble and was hoping someone might be able to help me. I have been working locally with Wampserver developing a website for a client. I am now trying to export the website to a server so I can make sure when I have to migrate it to the clients server I can do it without any problems.

Very sorry - I wasn't sure where to put this.
I am currently having massive problems clearing Drupal from my public_html.
I cannot get rid of the sites folder.

I have tried changing permissions (for all folders within the sites folder), it doesn't seem to register the change.

The path I'm having trouble with is this:

sites/default/files/color/bartik-9948370e

which contains two files: colors.css and logo.png.
These two files seem to be the problem. They won't accept me changing their permissions.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function apc_fetch() in /.../.../sites/all/modules/apc/drupal_apc_cache.inc on line 61

I got this error when i Moving an Existing Installation to a New Server .......!
Any one have any suggestion.....!

i have an issue that has me pulling out what's left of my hair ( homer simpson joke )
i added "domain access module "
created subdomains
but i realize that i can not post different content
Any thing i add to one sub domain appears on all sub domains ( all for one and one for all ) ,.. but i don't want that lol
i went to admin/domain/settings /Domain module behaviors/New content settings:
checked it .. still doesn't work
please help .. while i have some hair left to pull out

My installation using the DAMP package (from http://www.acquia.com/downloads) seemed to go without a hitch. However, when I click the Manage my database button (on the Control Panel), which opens up phpMyAdmin, the Privileges tab is missing.

What's gone wrong? How can I get it to appear?

I'm working in a Windows Server 2008 Terminal Server environment, if that makes any difference.

first of all - i am brand new to Drupal and new to this forum -so sorry for being the newby! Heard alot about drupal - and now i want to try out it.

uploaded all the files of 7.9 - on a testfolder on the server - but all i get is the following

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@schulcenter.org and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

what happened: i installed d7 on subfoder - .htaccess messed up all - which line to comment out.

well now i want to discuss a strange error with you - a very very a strange error. I have installed joomla in a subfolder. Imagine - i had installed it first to this folder /home/vhost/WWW/schulcenter.org/drupal

what i got as a result was serious errors all the way...Then i thought of some misconfiguration on my server - and i tried another folder.

/home/vhost/WWW/schulcenter.org/tmpo/

i first put into this folder a php_info.php-file - and it was visible... AFTER the installation (that is the upload) of the drupal-files - it (the php_info.php-file) was not visible at all.
