Installing Drupal

Hi,
I'm the ICT Co-ordinator at a Primary School in Melbourne Australia and we have begun exploring the development of an Intranet for our school via Drupal...thoroughly enjoying the product.

Our school needs 3 Drupal sites....a Staff Intranet, a Student/Parent Intranet and the public website....initially I had thought it was best to create these as 3 separate Drupal sites...but I have since seen how easily once can set permission levels for various blocks and content types within the one site.

because of some security reason i have changed my hosting and after that i tried to install drupal , but my hosting force to

safe mode on

and i can not install drual and i dont know what i have to do .
i dont prefer to instal joomla,mambo and other CMSs therefor i need your help as soon as posible.

I've searched the forums and found a couple of similar posts but I think this is a simpler situation than what I found. Are there any problems to expect with doing the following:

-Installing Drupal on new shared hosting account before the name servers are directed to it. Their convention is http://username.hostingcompany.com

-Once I'm ready to go live, I direct the nameservers for username.com to point to the site.

i try to install drupal 7.7 to make a multi-site ,i install apache2,mysql,php5 but when i connect with localhost i find message "it works" after i write the virtualhost of my sites and when i connect with localhost i find the window of drupal and writed "welcome to localhost" and when i make a test with a file info.php i discover that the source of the webserver in the first 's /var/www and in the second /var/www/drupal-7.7.can u help me to correct this error?

How are you doing?

I had a local drupal installation and was working on creating a site for the organization I work for. I use Ubuntu and as I was planning an upgrade I backed up my Drupal site completely.

1. I made an SQL dump of the database
2. I copied all the files in the site directory.

I did not disable clean urls before doing this.
