Pls someone should help me.
I am finding it difficult accessing my drupal administrator's page. I am hosting on www.Truepath.com
Anybody hosting on this platform or has any knowledge on how I can "log in as user one and give permissions." to solve this or suggest any other way I can solve this problem. Thanks
I have recently started transfer of my drupal 7 site to a new host. I uploaded the db file in the new database and updated settings.php file. but it gave an error.. So i deleted all the tables in the database and deleted the settings.php file to do a fresh install.
But now there is nothing in the database and the settings.php file has nothing. It is in the default form as comes in the core when it is not installed.
But it always says:
Drupal already installed
Please help me how to solve this problem! I am struck at this point!
Phew... Okay. I am new to Drupal and need to import an existing, live site's information and database into a local Drupal installation on my PC.
I am attempting to use Acquia Dev Stack for this. I used the Backup and Migrate tool to grab the database from the live site which downloaded a .mysql file for me. I also downloaded the 'sites' folder via FTP to incorporate into a fresh Drupal installation. The site is currently online as Drupal 6.
I am running 6.x configured under the Acquia Commons setup.
I have three issues.
(a) I think I will probably have to go to a private setup but, to be honest, have no idea of how to construct the appropriate URL for uploading or retrieving files. Any clues would be helpful.
(b) Is there a way of uploading files directly rather than attaching to a document, post, blog, etc.?
I've been asked to get a Drupal site (production level, viewable to the world) up and running on a mac. I usually use MAMP to get a Drupal site started - can I run MAMP on a production level site?
