Installing Drupal

So I'm installing Drupal 7.10 manually on iPage. I'd rather not use their automated tool b/c I prefer to have maximum control and am concerned with customization issues afterward. I will, though, if it turns out doing this manually is too much of a pain. Anyway, I'm on the database settings page, and here are my settings:

database name: drupaldata
user: myusername
pass: mypass
host: custsql-ipg17.eigbox.net (I got this from phpmyadmin)
port: 3307
prefix: N/A

I am getting the following error:

i want to create a db with lot of video and picture,
the alphabetic link is top but i can't regroup output with the same title exemple:

and i search all the night to do something like this:

I have installed Drupal on my webserver, however, the installation can't be completed. When I finished the last questions in the installation program, I'm receiving a fatal error message which says the following
Fatal error: Call to undefined function field_attach_load() in /home/.../domains/.../public_html/includes/entity.inc on line 320

I have re-installed Drupal for many times now, but I'm still receiving this message.

Can anyone tell me what I can do to solve this?

hello dear community,

while installling d 7 on linux box.

i thougth that all is correct -and i have set up all nice - and created a database.

but wait - while the installation process i run into some annoying error-messages: See this

my web designer is hosting a site with drupal. I set up an XAMMP server and am trying to run the site locally so I can learn Drupal and make modifications without having to go to him every time (it's getting expensive). I have Drupal running and have downloaded the site from the server through its cpanel and placed it into the sites folder in the XAMMP installation. I have followed directions regarding setting.php and install.php. At one point I think I had the database installed but was having password problems.

hello,i have a big problem in my drupal.i try to deactivate the core of module and when i try to open my site i find a white page opended for me.what can i do to recover my site?.
