Installing Drupal

Hi! i just encountered this problem
when i was installing the module *Commerce Kickstart* and then active the *rules module*
suddenly when i save it *the error showed up* and my drupal site cannot be restored
i tried to uninstall manually the new install modules , but it couldn't save my site :(

im using Ubuntu 11.10 OS

Which PHP Handler is most commonly used for Drupal, DSO, suPHP or FastCGI?

hello dear drupal friends,

i have annoying errors in installation of drupal. I cannot go ahead in the installation - cannot move forwards. #
all gets to a halt - at a certain point. The creation of the test.-tables. Here all stops.
besides the fact that i do not know what the tables (and this procedure is good for) i ask myself if i can get around this

Can i do this (go around this step) while moving a XAMPP-installation to the server -
can i skip the creation of Test-Tables!?

please - if i have to explain more -just lemme know...!!

I installed a fresh Drupal 7 removed the empty 6 never used it.
Also plugged some modules recruit and more but this is the message i get when i move to the homepage.

Acces denied

You are not authorized to acces this page.

Probarly its something simple but i cant find it in the dashboard/admin section what it is.

Anyone suggestions?

I am using a brand new installation of Apache/Mysql on a Zentyal box. When I try to install a module I get the following error:

Error message Installation failed! See the log below for more information.

File Transfer failed, reason: Cannot create directory /var/www/sites/all/modules
Next steps

It seems like a file or ownership issue. The folder permissions for /var/www/sites/all is drwxrwxrwx so it seems like the script should be able to create the new folder "modules". What is the issue?

I have cahallenge configuring my Drupal Website. I have created a new database, verify and fulfill every other condition.

Moreso, after installing it at www.platiniumglobalventures.com/install.php, I don't know which link I need to use to login into my admin page. Somebody should help me pls.
