Installing Drupal

Hello,

I have an addon domain on a client host account (the primary domain of this host account is not active - but we have several addon domains on the account). I have Drupal 7 installed on one of the addon domains and now I want to multisite the codebase to use same on another addon domain on the host account.

I have sweated over this for three days now. Please any assistance.

The primary domain of the account is say, www.site.com (not active).

I'm trying to do a fresh install of Drupal 7.31 onto a hosted server. The install script creates the database tables and then throws the following error.

Fatal error: Class 'SelectQuery' not found in /.../drupal-7.31/includes/database/select.inc on line 16

Any ideas or suggestions? I noticed this release came out yesterday so perhaps this is a newly introduced issue.

I have just installed Drupal 8.0 because I wanted to play with it a bit. The install went smoothly (or so i thought) as I have installed Drupal a couple times previous to this and the instructions are very easy to follow. My issue is with the admin panel or lack there of. I'm not sure if this is an installation error or if i am just overly tired and not paying attention but none of the links in the admin menu work.

hi I install drupal with nginx on ubuntu 14.04...
I follow many instructions like in

but I get only welcome page working
if I click on any link i will get

404 Not Found
nginx/1.4.6 (Ubuntu)

Trying to install D8 (dev. aug. 4) I get following error under "Requirements problem":
