Installing Drupal

This is a brand new install. I see this has been going on for a couple years, but none of the posted solutions worked for me.

This is drupal 7.31

The first issue is this.
After configuring the database info on the gui, this message is displayed. I tried dropping all the tables and starting from scratch with no luck. Seems like it's trying to create variable twice or something.

Table variable already exists.

I'm new to the drupal community, I'd consider myself somewhere between an beginner/intermediate at Drupal configuration, and a newbie as a sysadmin.

I've recently got a VPS running latest versions of Debian, Apache, PHP, MySQL. I've also configured all users to do login through SSH and using key pairs.

I'm now moving a website over from a LiteSpeed server to my Apache VPS server and having a lot of errors coming up that look like this:

I apologize if my question post subject is vague, but I don't quite understand the terminology associated with building a website. In other words, I am interested in building a website let's say domain.com and then having two sub pages on domain.com that have their own special address e.g. domain2.com instead of domain/domain2.com I want domain2.com to show up in search engines as domain2.com instead of linking to domain.com.

So i'm using softaculous to install drupal 7.31 on a shared host running php 5.4.31 & mysql 5.5.37-cll.
If I install 6.31, I don't get this error.

After the 7.31 install, I get the following error on the websites main page:

I am new to Drupal. I am installing Drupal 7 on my Windows 8 PC on which is already WAMP so that I may experiment.

I know that I will be building several sites on one server and so decide to opt for multi site, sharing code base but separate MySQL databases.

The base Drupal installation went well. I put the installation in C:\wamp\www\drupal. I just access the site with localhost and the drupal subdirectory.

I got this error during installation of commerce_kickstart distribution:-

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in D:\wamp\www\commerce_kickstart\includes\file.inc on line 2128

so How to avoid this?
