Installing Drupal

Have anyone had experiences installing Commerce Kickstart 2 at Arvixe hosting. Just looking for step by step instruction. Thanks.

I hope this is the right place for this post. I have built a website with Drupal 7 and have moved it from my local server to the hosting server. This required me to install Drupal on the hosting servers ftp. When I try to log in I get the message "Sorry, unrecognized username or password". When I try to request a new password using the correct e mail address I get the message "Sorry, my email address.co is not recognized as a user name or an e mail address".

Any help would be appreciated !!!

My system is Debian Linux, testing branch.

PHP version is 5.6.0-1, I am using a more recent kernel than the one in testing because the older one will not manage my advanced graphic card.
I have installed Drupal in my localhost, in a virtual host several times without issues.
At present I have a simple test site (just html) running fine as a vhost.

Hi guys, i've been trying to install Drupal 7 on my computer (windows 8 PC). I work as web designer and i usually dont have to deal with installing drupal or anything at work, i just use the command line and design the site. Well i tried using the Acquia stack installer and it installed drupal just fine, but it only has the windows command line, i was hoping someone would know how i could install drupal and use an ubuntu command line for Drush and such. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I tried to download Drupal on this page : http://ftp.drupal.org/files/projects/drupal-6.19.tar.gz and I can't access:

Not Found

The requested URL /files/projects/drupal-6.19.tar.gz was not found on this server.

I tried others versions of Drupal and it never works. Is there a problem on ftp server? Is it a problem from my computer? How can I fix that?
