Roadmap
Desired functionality
- Declare what fields are syndicated on a per content-type basis
- Mapping UI
- Merge new version with modified consumed version by field... eventually ability to merge multi-line fields, like $node->body
- Revert modified consumed versions to current version of original, by field
- View diff between modified consumed version and current version of the original
- Syndicated content will have reuse restrictions (note: much of it is only available in a "walled garden" type of situation)
- Content could be published to the world, specific domains, OG groups on this site, specific OG groups.
- Declare a maximum publicity setting (e.g.: Site admin can prevent syndication to the world)
- Prevent consumer from modifying the content
- Prevent modified consumed content from being syndicated
- Bulk change settings
- Default syndication config on site level, OG level and per user. Granular by content type and OG group.
- Share comments to consumers of content, and allow consumers to share comments with the publisher
- Ability to consume content on demand (e.g.: click button on article rather than going through the content queue)
