DRUPAL developer urgently needed this week; help us set up a new site

Dear all,

We're in urgent need of an experienced Drupal developer to help us set up the basic infrastructure of a new content-heavy site. This is a paid job for a client. We would prefer developers based in the US or Europe. The job involves basic set up of the CMS, plus 5 different content templates.

If this job works out, and you're good, this could turn into a long-term professional relationship. We are very loyal to our people and prefer to stay with developers we know and trust. This job has fallen into our lap and so we need to ramp up quickly.

Expert Developer needed for 3 large projects

I'm am interested in launching 3 different sites with Drupal.

Project #1
Is the largest of the three will need functionality similar to popsugar.com (it same log in across several domains). I also need groups, media uploads, and vBulletin integration. (it will combine information from 4 current Movable Type blogs)

Project #2
Is a migration from another 'community' of sites that has over 36,000 registered members on the message board. I'll need vBulletin integration, group blogs, groups, etc.

Project #3
I have a MovableType blog that I want to convert to a Drupal community. Group blogs, media uploads (so visitors can pictures), vBulletin, groups, etc

----
They all basically need the same functionality, it's just that Project #1 is the HIGHEST priority, and will span several domains.

Project #2 is for an existing site that is VERY active. I have a longer deadline on this, but once the work begins it needs to happen fairly quickly (as my members get mildly annoyed when I tinker with the site.)

Project #3 is fairly straightforward, and is the lowest priority, but it still needs to get done.

Because these are for sites with existing traffic, I would like to have expert Drupal developers only - when responding, please include a link to your portfolio or references. I have a budget, and can pay fair compensation for the scope of the project. I understand that the design can be handled by another company.

Conversion from PHP to DRUPAL CMS

Santa’s Heart 2006 upgrade.

Thank you for looking at our project. This site is very dear to me and my family and I hope you can find just some of the joy we have found by being involved with this project.

First let me start by stating that if I could build this application I would but since I am not able to I am here asking for contractors that will help us to fulfill a dream.

This site is to aid volunteers who want to assist needy children. Let me explain the history so that you will understand the current situation.

Last year my friend told me about the history of letters that needy children write to Santa Claus and how volunteers go to specific regional Post Offices and sort through the letters and pick out the ones that they wish to personally answer.
He explained to me that it was impossible for him to go to the Post Office as the hours they were open are the hours that he has to work. Me and some friends built Santa’s Heart. (www.santasheart.org)

This site allows volunteers to assist each other, by allowing people who have the time to go to the post office to post the letters online then people like my friend can view the letters and select the ones they wish to answer. We call this “adopting” a letter.

Last Year we started in the middle of November and built the system and went online on Dec 5th. We were able to help 388 Children locally!

Our goal is to help many more this year and by converting the system to a CMS system we should have a much more stable system that can handle a lot more users. Last year we had 800 registered users and I expect this to grow this year.

$$$ ? Team (sport) participation list

Help getting USPS Shipcalc working on my site

Hello -

I have been trying for several months now to get the USPS shipcalc module to work on a site I am developing. I have tried numerous combinations of CVS versions and read every post I can find to make sure that I am doing everything right. Currently I have an item set to allow all the USPS shipping methods, but when I try to do a checkout with this item no shipping options are presented - However If I enable all the UPS options, then I can see the UPS options with correct rates. I have successfully got UPS working.
