Paid Drupal services

I don't understand programming, but I have been trying to set up a simple Drupal website once before and am again trying now. I keep having problems and I am quite frustrated... like trying to install a module and it giving me errors... I don't get it. AGH.

I have an idea for a GREAT website community. I really do believe there is not one out there like it (i have looked). I am asking for a kind person's help.... help setting up modules and the website. Help also with making a theme... I can do the graphics and the look, but I cannot code.

I am in need of a talented Drupal Designer/Programmer to take the lead in my project. The project will be video based, so ideally it it would be best to have experience with
http://drupal.org/project/video module, although it is not certain how much we will actually have to use this particular module experience would be helpful.

One of main goals will be to integrate a current script that converts uploaded videos by end users.

I wasn't sure where to put this but I'll try here for now. Our website started as drupal and our web designer created a great thing but that was a year ago and now we are offline for some reason and we really need help to get our site back up. We are a real world space group and not having our site up is damaging to us.

Position Overview

The MarsDrive Consortium is looking for a part time web developer/designer to work with other volunteers in updating and maintaining the current site. The MDC is an emerging systems integrator for private space exploration and its related terrestrial applications. At the current time this position is similar to that of a traditional intern but after 90 days, a decision can be made whether to sign a contract for compensation on an hourly basis.

Essential Job Functions
• Updating and Maintaining the current MDC website
• Adding and configuring additional functional modules and features

Non-essential Job Functions
• Working with other web projects team members to build more advanced MDC systems
• Joining our Multimedia group on various CG animation and video projects

Requirements
• Weekly Online Update Meetings
• Report to Web Projects Director

Skills/Abilities
• Drupal 4.6 and above or related experience
• PHP 4 and above
• mySQL
• Intermediate Web Graphics Design
