Well i am not getting how to change the HTML of my drupal site. I am not able to get a source of my drupal. Well the task i have to do is.........change the text box css in user login....that appears on the front page of drupal site. Please help....
I see there is tons of posts regarding this, is there any project working already on this ? Because it should be quite easy. Just make IPB use the Drupal usersystem instead for logging in and registering. And just leave IPB on its own without the need of modding Drupal at all.
The problem as i see will probably be the passwords which is hashed differently i guess. I have no clue if its possible to kinda re-hash passwords somehow .
Anyone have any ideas on how to make this work ?
Here's the big dilemma... I've been using Joomla for years. Modules appear great. Designs look beautiful. Easy to set up. But when it comes right down to it, there is very poor SEO, it's heavy, and it does have its issues. I wasn't thrilled with the direction the new Joomla team set forth either. So I had decided to move my site over to either Drupal or Wordpress to handle our "magazine" section which will have a number of articles.
Now here's where it gets sticky. Wordpress always looked and felt like a blog. In some areas it is still annoyingly bloglike although it is moving towards a better cms. It does very well with SEO and I just got a design template that looks astonishingly good for a newspaper type site. It's also simple to use, has great plugins, and also can be integrated with our vbulletin forum which has a very large number of posts.
Then there is drupal. The answer usually is "no, it is not just for developers and pro designers." Well, let's be honest here. The tool seems much more versatile. It also allows you to have better "author pages" that wordpress doesn't really do well with its inability to simply have a listing of all an author's articles or even a author profile page if you click on the link for an author. But there is a serious price to pay with drupal and let me explain.
im having a hard time understanding drupal is it a blog or forum place like wordpress because i acually that i could incorporate drupaul with my website i dont need a blog or anything i have a website and what i was looking for is a program or somthing to use with my website that i can click and it will let people know its under matainence and my website is www.jaysonberger.com i initially installed drupal in the root directly and when i went to drupal all i seen was log into drupal so then i uploaded it in a folder within the
