Converting to Drupal

I'm following http://drupal.org/node/71856 and on line 4 it states "Apply the DragonflyCMS patch to phpBB2Drupal module." the problem is I do not have cmd prompt acess on the linux machine to run this patch. 1. Has anyone moved from dragonfly cms to Dragon 6 and 2 how did they get this patch to apply?

I currently working on my local server...........my mail server is configured but i am still unable to send/recieve mail...........please suggest me what to change?..........in "drupal_mail function"????????

why do we use "Select event terms to filter by' this drop down..........and hwo to use it.

I have inherited a website that is running Drupal and I have since setup an environment were Drupal can be run using MySQL, Apache and PHP. I would like to know once I have download the contents of the site via FTP how do I setup a working development environment?

I tried copying the contents of the production folder (public_html) but that that didn't work.

Any suggestions?

Hi. currently [url=http://www.bloodclanorcs.com/]my site[/url] is running on vbadvanced and using [url=http://vbskins.com/theme/merkia.html]this template[/url] however I would like to switch to drupal but my problem is getting the template to run on drupal :( I am fairly new to this but a quick learner.

If somone could point me to some helpful information or provide some information I would greatly appricate it :).

I really have spent two weeks searching, reading etc but I seem to understand very little (perfectly good with HTML and CSS) but Drupal has me completely baffled. My head is exploding with a type of panic, I think, because there is too much to learn and understand!!
