Converting to Drupal

How to enable a user to post forums and other content into a groups. Please help

Hi,

This is, most likely, a stupid newbie question so please bear with me. This is the first time I've really got Drupal running and trying to make it work.

I've got a bunch of content that I copied and pasted from a WordPress install and all the HTML came over just fine. When I look in the edit tab in Drupal, all the HTML is there. However, when I look at the page output, all the TABLE, TD, TR, H3, H4, and so on are converted to P tags. Only the STRONG HTML is respected. Any ideas what might cause this behavior?

Hi guys. I'm sorry to say this, but Drupal's forum is not a really great one. That's why I need to replace it. I choose Mybb.

Can I use a Mybb forum instead of Drupal's classic forum ?

Alright. I've been banging on a Virtual Machine Drupal install, screwing it up and then restoring to previous states. I've come up with a few questions for anyone willing to help answer them.

Regarding the Frequently Asked Questions module:

Is anyone aware of a way to re-order existing questions and categories? There is a weight section under Administer > Site configuration > Frequently Asked Questions but it doesn't show any questions to arrange despite there being a number of them already created.

Regarding the book module:

I understand that there is no way to reuse content across different books. Is there another module/CCK content type/anything that DOES allow me to do this?

Regarding MTA's on the host server:

If I only want the absolute basic ability to send out emails from Drupal, what, on a LAMP server, is the minimum I need to install and configure? Are solutions like sendmail or postfix even necessary?

Regarding content creation:

2 questions. First, is there a typical way people build forms or questionaires that are converted, behind the scenes, into a particular type of content?

Secondly, is there a known method for having a single form submission generate more than a single node?

I have an existing site which I want to convert to Drupal. The Drupal site would be using CCK and will have different fields for different content types. Currently for few of the content types, I have created a hack-up job in Perl; that loads the content-add page, grabs the form-id and then fills in all the variables before making the POST request and thus creating nodes.

I am trying to change my site to a drupal site. But my hosting company says that Drupal sites do not scale well. How true it is and what exactly could the meaning to this be.
