Hosting support

As was mentioned in another forum, https://drupal.org/node/810476, GreenGeeks.com and .ca is the worst company I have ever hosted with.

The gist of it is that they will not allow you to backup your account using the normal backup feature. Its a feature of every cpanel I have ever come across and overlooked when I moved to greengeeks. When a hosting company tells you it uses cpanel, you expect cpanel. Instead, greengeeks disables it on purpose so that you cannot generate a backup without paying for it.

Hello everyone! I am in a sticky situation and was hoping the drupal community could help me find a solution. We have an old legacy Drupal 5 site that was built and hosted in house. Well as you are all likely aware Drupal 5 is no longer supported and the server requirements for a D5 site are quite dated as well by this point. As a result our IT team wants to decommission the in-house box because they see it as a security risk.

I have a problem with my website and Hostmonster. I have been using hostmonster a couple of years and suddenly some pages don't load anymore and i get a HTML 500 internal server errors. If i look at the error log file, there is the following message:

PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function db_is_active

Today i also got a message from hostmonster that they are migrating to php version 5.4. The drupal version i am running is 7.21 and always worked fine

I can also nog login to my website and already restored the backup from yesterday.

I Have Created a database on server and also i uploaded all the files on server but when i trying to pull up the site i am getting below error

Fatal error: Undefined class constant 'MYSQL_ATTR_USE_BUFFERED_QUERY' in D:\Hosting\11857136\html\sagareducationsolutions.com\servsup\servsup\includes\database\mysql\database.inc on line 46

can any one tell me how to fix this error

I have been with BlueHost.com since 2008 and now it is time to leave…

I have approx 30 days to find and move all of my content to another hosting company.

What I do like about BlueHost.com is that I have a lot of options for $100.00 a year (see below).

So… what I would like to do and/or have is the same stuff at the same cost. Drupal 6.x on PHP 5.2. The ability to add multiple sub-domains and create wordpress instances on the fly (i.e. a wizard to install the wordpress and mysql at the same time)

Anyone have any suggestions?
